เคล็ดไม่ลับของการซื้อข้าวโพดหวานสองสี ยิ่งใหม่ยิ่งหวาน ให้เลือกดูข้าวโพดใหม่ ๆ ดูที่เม็ดไม่บุบ และซื้อไปแล้วไม่ควรเก็บไว้นาน เพราะยิ่งนานวัน  น้ำตาลจะเปลี่ยนเป็นแป้งไปเรื่อย ๆ ถ้ายิ่งร้อน (ไม่เก็บในตู้เย็น) ก็ยิ่งเปลี่ยนเป็นแป้งเร็วขึ้นอีก

โครงการหลวงมีจำหน่ายตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม – เมษายน ส่วนเดือนอื่น ๆ ก็กำลังพยามยามอยู่ค่ะ

Bicolor sweet corn is a tablesweet variety. Bicolor sweet corn has 80 percent yellow kernels and 20 percent white kernels on each ear. It combines tenderness, high sugar content, and good storage qualities.

Bicolor sweet corn loses sweetness and freshness after harvest, and the rate of loss increases with increasing temperature. Because sweet corn has a high respiration rate, it produces heat which can cause ears in bulk trailer loads to heat up considerably during delays between picking and precooling. The longer the delay, the greater the heating, conversion of sugar to starch, and subsequent quality loss.

Royal project’s bicolor sweet corn is available since Jan – Apr.  Anyway other mouths, Royal project keep trying to produce.

Estimately size : after trimming without stem 300-350 grams an ear.
